Seeing all this stuff about Donald Trump has me wishing that we got another book for LoA even more now. I know MC would absolutely eat in a presidential RICO trial 👩🏾‍🍳

Viktoria’s illegitimate child actually being one of the Thornes we’ve already been introduced to is a really good theory. But I want to explore the idea that the child is some rando we haven’t been introduced to yet. I think if that’s the case, then Eveline or Vasili could still be the mastermind and Vasili and Sebastyan the murderers of Juliana and Nadja. This is gonna be a lot of speculation though so bear with me.

Let’s say this is the case and the Heir Equity Act passing would put Viktoria’s child in the line of succession before any of Eveline’s kids. Now why wouldn’t Eveline/Vasili just kill the child? Well — and this is where the speculation starts to come in — I would imagine they either do not know who the child is (only that they exist) or that Viktoria has the child hidden away and very protected. So since Eveline/Vasili can’t get to him/her, they have Juliana killed instead because Juliana already suspected as revealed in this chapter. That would explain away our questions about what that side of the family’s motives would be since the Act would’ve seemingly helped them. And perhaps they think it could somehow still be passed without Juliana. So with Trystan taking the fall for her murder, Vasili is next in line.

But years later nothing has happened with the Act and Trystan returns, gets exonerated, and then recoronated. Plus (more speculation), with Juliana’s case reopened for Trystan’s trial, Nadja somehow finds out what Juliana knew about Viktoria’s child. That’s what she came to the palace to tell Trystan since they had previously discussed trying to continue Juliana’s work of getting the Act passed again. But she gets intercepted by Vasili or Sebastyan, and one or the other kills her. So that also explains why Sebastyan is the only one of the proponents for the Act still alive.

The only thing I haven’t really thought about though is why Viktoria would be keeping her child a secret all this time 🤔 And I’m sure there are more holes in this theory somewhere. So yeah lmk what y’all think or if I’m way off base lol
